Set just a short way down the Sandididebe channel from Camp Maru, Amber River Camp is the second camp.
The camp is set upon an island with year-round water activities and designed in such a way so that guests have a choice of sunrise to wake up to or a wonderful sunset to end the day with from their luxury tents. Amber River Camp has 6 luxury tents with three on each side of the island linked by a treelined walkway and is a more traditionally styled camp with the tents on raised decks along with outside bathtub and shower.
The Camp enjoys the same productive game-rich area over which it traverses and is a great option to combine with the 1930’s authentic feel that Camp Maru offers.
