Basin Harbor Resort & Boat Club, member of New England Inns & Resorts Association (NEIRA), is a seasonal hotel located on Lake Champlain in Vergennes, Vermont.
The resort is comprised of 74 private cottages in addition to guest rooms and set on hundreds of green acres complimented by lovely gardens.
A private beach is the launching area for all kinds of water sports activities including boating. There is a designated swimming area on the lake, as well as an outdoor pool.
Basin Harbor has an 18-hole golf course that was the first in Vermont to become a sanctioned Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary course. The area naturally lends itself to a variety of outdoor activities. The resort has 5 tennis and badminton courts on the premises as well as a fitness center and wellness studio. Guests can also rent bikes from the front desk, or enjoy a massage at the Blue Chair Spa.
There are several dining options presented by the resort, offering lake views and serving organic, local produce. The four restaurants serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner in casual or smart casual settings.
