Casa Mosquito is a boutique hotel located between Ipanema and Copacabana, a 10-minute walk to the beach.
Guests can take in sweeping ocean views while enjoying a cocktail from the outdoor terrace/bar and pool area. The hotel has its own restaurant, which serves a buffet breakfast and meals in the garden, and features a seasonal menu of locally sourced ingredients.
The overall design of Casa Mosquito combines contemporary with 50’s flair, mixing eclectic antiques with quirky flea shop finds, which makes for an authentic and memorable ambiance. Each of its 9 suites are decorated individually and each is named after a local Rio celebrity, such as Tom Jobim, Madame Sata, or Carmen Miranda. Rooms are air-conditioned and wifi is complimentary throughout the property. Spa services are offered to enjoy in-room.
