Hotel Mera Mare is a newly constructed hotel opposite the beach in central Pattaya, a coastal resort town with much to offer in terms of entertainment and nightlife.
In the 1960s, Pattaya was still a quiet fishing village, but now it has developed into a bustling city full of resort hotels, shopping malls, and 24-hour clubs. There are also several designer golf courses in the surrounding area and Buddhist temples to visit. Parking is free on site so renting a car to explore the region is seamlessly easy to do. Pattaya is of course, known for its beautiful beaches. Watersports and boating trips to offshore islands are popular activities.
Modernly decorated common spaces feel futuristic and edgy, while guest rooms are decorated in a more continental fashion (with original finishes and furnishings nonetheless). As a new hotel, rooms are well appointed with modern technology features. The sleek bedrooms are very spacious and offer views of either the city or the beach, which is just across the street from the hotel.
There is a large and well-equipped gym with high quality machines and a weight-training room, as well as an outdoor lap pool.
24-hour room service is offered and October Sky, the hotel’s restaurant, serves international cuisine all day. Guests are offered a choice of breakfast between Continental, full English, Asian, or American. There is also a pastry shop that serves afternoon tea and a cocktail bar in the lobby.
