Located in a beautifully restored heritage building in one of the most vibrant areas of Montreal, the St Paul has been attracting the attention of design and architecture aficionados since its opening in 2001.
The hotel is cloaked in a muscular Beaux-Arts shell, but once past the antique doors, the interior is ethereal, airy, and light - a perfect blend of old and new. Warm and welcoming minimalism dominates the decor, enhanced by dramatic touches such as the lobby’s translucent alabaster fireplace. Embodying an elemental theme, the hotel alternates between this airy reverie and an earthier, more textured approach, whether in public spaces or in guestrooms.
The design reflects Canada's natural landscape - reclaimed wood furniture, tranquil colour palettes, stone walls and an overall sense of spaciousness. The restaurant and bar Hambar is one of Montreal’s trendiest spots, the sort of place where in-the-know locals mix with hotel patrons with Vieux Montréal just outside the door.
HotelSwaps is pleased to announce Hotel St. Paul as its newest member in Canada.
